This is my first hide. After finding 99 caches, I decided it was time. San Clemente NorthBeach is known for being rocky. The San Clemente Beach trail begins with rocks along it, but "No Rocks Here" where the cache is hidden near the start of the trail has no rocks.
The San Clemente Beach trail is well used, so watch for mugglers. If you care to walk it, it is 1 mile from here to the pier or go on to the state park, making it 2.4 miles one way. This cache container is well camouflaged. It is small sized with log, pencils and a few small trinkets. A gold doubloon (dollar coin) to the first finder. Be sure to seal it tightly when putting back. Sorry but you do have to pay to park in the lot. There are some shorter meters up the hill. Come at sunset and see the beautiful sky. Happy hunting.
