Not far off the walking trail, cache is hidden amidst the natural physical landscape, and unnatural but soothing hum of never ending traffic.
The Koonung trail is a reserve slivered beside the 6 lane freeway, sandwiched alongside a babbling wetland and a towering wall of sound (unlike Phil Spectre)
The curved clear deflection barrier won the 1998 Victorian Architectural Medal, the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (Victoria) Joseph Reed Award for Urban Design, and the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (National) Walter Burley Griffin Award for Urban Design.
Who knew huh!
Cache has been replaced (3rd time lucky- June 2013) Obviously a more popular area with the muggles than I thought originally.
Please take a bit of time to secrete it cavernously to help avert prying eyes.
