The Coal Quay in Cork City is one of the great institutions of Munster.
Famed for centuries for its outdoor markets, the area has been redeveloped in the past couple of years. While trendiness and cleanliness are now fair descriptions, the discerning visitor will still find marvels of antiquity in the immediate area. The short cul de sac street alongside the cache site has an amazing religious streetwide mural, with a small well-kept grotto to the front. The cache is a micro located on Daltons Avenue directly opposite Peg Twomeys.
