This cache has existed since 2004 when it was first placed by the Lone Star Drifters. However, it fell into disrepair and the park staff was unable to get in contact with the COs. Now this cache is back under the Mission Tejas name so it can be maintained, refreshed and resupplied like the other caches here. This cache is near one of the original CCC features of the park, however it's not quite as tall as it used to be. This trail has some good elevation changes.
Slightly smaller than an ammo can. Originally had lots of goodies for kids, and still has a few. Near an old CCC feature (but not TOO close). This trail is a good hike between the Rice Family LogHome and the campground.
