Back when the second cache was placed on this island, there was some talk about the danger that someday someone would put a third cache in the middle of the island. Some people even thought that this would be a good place for a Pitch newspaper stand. Well, the day has come. The island has its third cache.
The good news is ... right now, it's not an island; it's a peninsula. If you hurry, you can get this without getting your feet wet.
The cache container was a gift from this year's Grinch exchange. It is a little smaller than an ammo can, and its lid fits really tightly, so be gentle with it when you open it. Just gradually work your way around the container and you'll eventually get it. The cache container came pre-loaded, so it's got some nice stuff for early finders.
