A cache situated on a pedestrian/cycle route a few miles away from Tamworth town centre. Some people have struggled to find this as it is very well hidden and there is heavy growth along the verge, Additional clues have been put in the description. The cache was checked yesterday and it is definitely there.
The cache is a small clip lock box with a brown waterproof cover situated in Stonydelph Lane. This used to be a lane which ran from A5 Watling Street (now B4504) to B5000 Glascote Road, but was turned into a pedestrian/cycle way in the 1980's when the housing estates were developed. Parking is available in Grassholme or other nearby roads or at the shops in Ellerbeck. The area can be quite busy at times, especially school holidays. Please be stealthy when searching/hiding. When hidden the cache contained the following: (1) 25" Tape Measure (2) Tagged Key Ring (3) Small Wire Puzzle (4) 1928 Old Penny (5) Gold Disc (6) Pair of Tweezers (7) Document Clip (8) Blue Dress Ring (9) Notebook & Pencil
