A cache near the summit of Swett Mountain, located off of Mt. Piper. The cache is a camouflaged regular-sized tupperware container hidden in an obvious place.
The easiest parking for this cache can be found at the end of Carriage Road. From there, backtrack down the road until you can join the white trail. Follow this until you reach the first junction, at which you should turn right and follow this trail all the way across the summit of Piper. Then, turn left on the Vista Trail. This trail, which turns into the Swett Mountain Trail after a certain point, will lead you all the way to the summit of Swett and the cache as well.
However, the gates on Carriage Road are locked in the winter and after 6:00 P.M., so alternate parking is located just before the gates. From there, take the red Piper Mountain Trail 980 vertical feet to the summit of Piper, at which point you can follow the above instructions.
The cache is a camouflaged tupperware-esque container with lots of swag inside. You should have no trouble finding the cache upon arrival at GZ, unless there is snow on the ground.
