The Florida Tech Botanical Gardens, called “The Jungle” by students and staff, are not well–known off-campus but are definitely worth a visit if you’re caching in the area. I suggest going in fresh, but if you must have more info, here’s a link - http://www.facilities.fit.edu/botan.html .
I suggest parking in one of the lots west of Country Club Drive. Country Club runs parallel to Babcock Street and intersects with US 192 just west of Babcock.
The cache is in an ammo box not far from a trail. The Jungle floods when it rains, so it can get quite muddy. The cache has been placed out of sight from the trail and so as not to be washed away. There is a heavy tree canopy, so the hint and photo might be necessary. There’s a bonus location to be sought after you find the cache.
(This cache was actually placed back in November, but for various reasons, I never got around to posting it. Florida Tech students found it however, and started using it in the best spirit of geocaching. Thanks for being nice!)
