This is a smal traditional cache, placed by the roadside between eaton and cumnor, it is near a public footpath that takes a short cut (which is the better way to walk if the weather is favourable, otherwise you have to go the longer way via the road). This was placed - along with another cache- to break the monotonous walk betweent the two villages during the winter months.
The cache is a slightly unusual container and contains just the log (it is very small) and you need to bring your own pen/pencil to sign it.
