Geocache Description:

This multi-cache is named for an impressive burled oak that you will pass along the way from the start to the final cache location.

From Wikipedia: A burl is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. A burl results from a tree undergoing some form of stress. It may be caused by an injury, virus or fungus.

Rock Wall

There is also an interesting old rock wall that you will see along the way. Neither the redirectors nor the final are hidden in the burled oak or the rock wall.
