If the gate is open (fall-ish), then you can drive right to it. If not, it is about a two and a half mile round trip on foot or bike.
Blaze orange is recommended year-round and required from mid November through mid December.
Christmas Day is the first. How many days will you sing before you find the log? The cache container might be any color and you do not have to hide it exactly as you found it, but you do have to sign the official log sheet. Bring a writing tool.
