Off the beaten path, but worth the hike.
While placing another cache nearby, I noticed a trail right on the waters edge. I followed the trail and ended up in the woods. The quiet was awesome and the view even more so.
You will need to park at the parking coords and hike in. During low water cycles, you can see most of the route, only leaving the trail for the last little bit. During normal or high water cycles, you will either need to wade in the water or take to the hills. It is for this reason that I have made the terrain rating a little higher than it should be.
If you get to use the trail, pick up some of the THOUSANDS of fresh water shells lying along the way.
