This event and all the benefits it brought to the environment and the reputation of our game is dedicated to Cliff of Pirates2+2, who passed away the day before the event. He was a kind soul and an accomplished (some might say distinctly well rounded) cacher. With his clever logs, fine hides, and his enthusiasm for the hunt he made geocaching and life better for all of us. Everyone will miss him.

Come join us for a day of giving back. Lake Berryessa in the spring is truly a sight to see. Wildflowers & oaks scattered among green rolling hills. This time of year it's not uncommon to see eagles above as well as lots of land critters.

We will be paddling out to the islands and practicing the art of CITO as we wander.

Special thanks to Nor-Cal Geo-Paddlers for starting this fun event.

Some things to know:

• We will be meeting at the posted coordinates at 10 am.
• You will need some type of watercraft for this CITO.
• The day use area offers shade, BBQ`s and tables.
• Bring water, sunscreen, life vests and sensible shoes.
• Bring a chair and something to eat for the after-paddle picnic.
