L'autostrada A4 (detta anche Serenissima nel suo tratto centrale) attraversa da ovest a est l'intera pianura padana, partendo da Torino, passando per Milano e terminando a Sistiana, da cui prosegue verso Trieste, senza soluzione di continuità, con la classificazione RA 13.
Numerose sono le interconnessioni con le altre grandi arterie autostradali. L'A4 è costituita principalmente, nel tratto tra Torino e Venezia, da tre corsie più corsia d'emergenza (ad eccezione di pochi tratti in concomitanza del passaggio sopra fiumi, oltre al tratto a quattro corsie di recente inaugurazione tra Milano Est e Bergamo).
Attualmente stanno realizzando la terza corsia anche nel tratto tra Venezia e Trieste.
La cache si trova nei pressi del casello autostradale di Noventa di Piave. Buona Caccia
