Laingholm is a small community located in West Auckland, with beach access to the Manakau harbour and surrounded in regenerated bush it is a hidden treasure to those that live here. There are many short bush walks in the area and I have located Geocaches on the tracks to highlight these tracks to new comers to the Laingholm area. These tracks make great routes for walking the dog or getting in the daily exercise for us locals as well.
This track will take you from Warner Park Ave up to Tane Rd, this a short but good workout for the legs and lungs. There are alot of steps, but offers a good alternative to do a loop of the Laingholm valley. The entrance to the track is opposite #24 Warner Park Ave. Try coming up the Western Rd track and looping down to this one. Once at the top you can get some great views of the valley from Victory rd. The cache is located at the base of a very impressive natural landmark.
