You'll need a boat and water shoes/sneakers/boots for this cache. Monkey Point is an excellent day anchorage on the southern tip of Guana Island in the BVI. Several national park moorings are in place for those with a permit. Yellow balls are for commercial use only. Good snorkeling if no storms or Northern swell which can reduce visibility. Cache is on the Eastern side of the rocky outcropping which is opposite of the mooring area.
We set this cache out while cruising the BVI on a family vacation during Christmas 2012 week. We chartered the Miss Kitty Sailing catamaran (a beautiful 2006 44 foot Lagoon catamaran) crewed by the owners' Captain Pat and his wife Aline. We found geocaches on many BVI islands and turned the crew on to geocaching. They graciously agreed to maintain this cache. We hope you enjoy this cache and the BVI as much as we did. Be careful of loose rocks as you climb.
