This will require a small hike(1/2 mile or less) if you choose to park at the County Road waypoint. Once at the destination, you may have a thorny experience retrieving the container. Bring your own pen!
This is another Panola County Historical Cemetery restoration in progress. I was given directions to this location by Mr. Elvy Adams of Panola County.
There is a White Cross at the County Road and a gate that is locked. However, a right of way is just beyond the gate that he directed me to enter by.
As of this date,12/26/12, only a few limbs have been trimmed. Several stones are lying broken on the ground.
The oldest stone that I could read was: McAlister Williamson Born June 20, 1803 & Died March 9, 1864.
I look forward to the finished project and this container may need to be relocated upon completion.
