While spending Christmas 2012 at Tambopaxi, my friend and I placed this cache on the way to the lake. On a clear day you'll have great views of Rumiñahui, Cotopaxi, and Sincholagua.
Feel free to exchange someting for the colored pencils but please leave at least one or two for signing the log.
Please note that since the 2012 mountain fatalities, the national park has been extremely strict about who can enter. It seems foreigners can't enter the park (north, Machachi entrance) without a guide or without a paper reservation in hand from Tambopaxi. Please research ahead of time how you'll arrive.
