Located at the Boy Scout Shelter. An easy 20-30 minute walk (one-way) on a paved road.
This cache isn’t exactly new. Someone lost it, or just or forgot to log it, in 2011. After finding caches that morning, we sat at the shelter thinking…its odd/wrong that there are no caches located near a Boy Scout shelter. After looking around, we found one! It was dated 6/2011, but had no other logs. The inside was covered in melted candy and it was unrecorded. We took it home, cleaned it, fixed it and returned it. If you take the trail at the top of Pupukea, stay on the paved road for 25-30 minutes and you will spot the shelter. The cache is 5-6 feet up (reach for it); not on the shelter.
