A nice easy little multi around the town of Dunfermline. The narrow land called ‘Free School Close’ runs north from Canmore Street to the High Street and was once shared with a number of animals from neighbouring houses. An inscription on the wall in the alley tells you a little more.
Two churches once stood side by side prior to the Free Abbey Church being destroyed by fire which is now the site of the car park.
