This is the Cottle County cache in a twelve part series of caches highlighting historical locations in the twelve counties of the Boy Scout’s North West Texas Council. Each cache is themed with a point in the Scout Law. This was done as my Eagle Project.
The aftermath of the worst war fought by Americans in terms of casualties was a cloud of anger and prejudiced. Frequent are the tales of violence and wrongs on both sides. Here is a place where both sides were able to coexist and try to rebuild together.
