This is part of a series of caches placed along the ICC trails and the connectors. (see also the caches placed on this route by mjb007). I have attempted to mix up the difficulty, hide types and containers along the trail to make it interesting. You will need to bring a pen, since some of the caches don’t have room for pens. For some caches an extractor tool will be helpful.
Maryland really failed in building a hiking/biking trail when they built the ICC. The trail does not connect directly to other parts of the trail and it really doesn't go anywhere interesting. Rather than carry the bike path directly alongside the ICC to get between these segments of the ICC trail you have to take Emory to Georgia and then you can get back on the trail alongside the ICC. This is a new trail and doesn't have a lot of cover. It can get busy with muggles. In many cases the trail is visible from the highway or nearby houses. Please minimize your impact on the new landscaping.
Note this cache is not accessible from the ICC. The nearest ICC exit to this trail is Exit 8, MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) – Olney, Wheaton.
