ebchester treasure #7 Traditional Cache
scotty299: Had a good look for this one today myself but no luck, archiving it as this is the cache which i've had the most difficulty keeping in place, sorry to all who have had DNF's on this one.

A pleasent walk along the banks of the river derwent and up onto the derwent walk,passing through blackhall mill,ebchester and hamsterley.
the title of the cache refers to a local legend of roman treasure hidden in the 5th century.it's reputed to be hidden in a cave in an iron chest.
to date none has been found.
The walk takes you along the banks of the river with some quite steep drops,so care should be taken if you have children with you.there is also farmland sometimes planted with crops and at times animals grazing. so please follow the country code.
this section of track is not suitable for buggies or cycles.
