Glansheskin Wood lies just outside Kilworth village. The diversity of tree species and wildlife, the fresh Douglas River with its abundance of bridges, and many walks including part of the Blackwater Way, makes this a popular destination for the cognescenti.
On a good day, you may spot both the elusive otter and the rare red squirrel. On any day, you will spot a variety of both wild and bird life.
You will see the bridge as you park up in the very spacious parking area. Dont cross over the bridge, rather take the walk to the right for a couple dozen metres. You will notice what looks like a 6-pronged tree. The tree to the left is your destination.
The cache is a medium-sized plastic container, covered with a few stones. The combination of woodland and a mobile phone may result in jumpy co-ords, but the description and hint should assist.
