Geocache Description:

This is part of a series placed to draw attention to the devestation caused by Hurricane Irene.  Irene was a large and very destructive tropical storm, which affected much of the East Coast of the United States in August of 2011.  Irene is currently ranked as the sixth costliest hurricane in United States history.

Before the storm, I had placed a cache in this small park.  At that time, the park extended over 150 feet to the NNE and contained a lot more tree growth than is present now.  I suspect that cache is now floating across the Atlantic...

This should be a quick p&g at a location where the storm effects are quite visible.  BYOP
