The Parque Luis Munoz Rivera was named in honor of one the islands most influential public figures, the famed Puerto Rican poet and politician.
The park constitutes a much needed green enclave in the middle of the city, alloweing visitors to relax around the numerous fountains and benches. shadded by copious trees. A stroll down Paseo de los Proceres revelas a row of statues of prominent Latin American figures like Simon Bolivar. Parents bring their children here to run skates, bikes, skateboard.
I hope that the container also serves to receive small trackables visiting the island.
