Geocache Description:

Rumor has it that Al Capone DID have a hideout in Schaumburg, Illinois. In the 1850's, the center of Schaumburg was the intersection of Schaumburg Road and Roselle Road. One block south of that intersection is a short street named Quindel. At the intersection of Quindel and Roselle is "Easy Street Pub". The second floor of this old two story corner bar, must be way over one hundred years old, was the Brothel of Capone's business. Half a block east on Quindel sits, which must be the oldest house in Schaumburg, ordained with the best of the best of the times back when it was built. Cast copper downspots and gutters, terra cotta roof and a tunnel that led to a hidden access and exit off of a isolated farm road many hundred meters away. The house was built on the highest summit in the township so occupants could see cars coming up Schaumburg Road from miles away, for Schaumburg Road was the only access to Schaumburg from the east. This is where "The Madam" of the brothel resided and where Capone found harbor.
