Ready to step into the shoes of our park employees, and try YOUR hand at managing Everglades National Park? This cache is a golden opportunity to do just that! The Park Employee for a Day geocache trail is comprised of five caches (including this one) that follow the path of the main park road towards Flamingo. Like the others, this is a traditional cache, which contains a particular case study that requires your attention...
For 100 years, the National Park Service has preserved America’s special places “for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.” Celebrate its second century with the Find Your Park GeoTour that launched April 2016 and explore these geocaches placed for you by National Park Service Rangers and their partners.

The hunt for this cache will take you to one of the most popular areas in the park. If you came to the Everglades to see wildlife, you’ll want to spend some time exploring the trails nearby. Alligators, turtles, birds, fish and more await!
Designated parking is available and the cache is only a short walk away! But be warned: this cache will require EXTREME stealth, particularly during the busy winter season!And please don’t forget to share your thoughts when you log your find.
