Geocache Description:

Seventh of chloboo and monkeydogfish's Harry Potter series of caches.
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"

chloboo:

This is the seventh of the Chloboo HP Series. As soon as I got into geocaching, I decided that one favorite book series of mine could be a theme. In each of the caches in this series, there will be a clue. Write down the clue given or remember. Using all the clues, the bonus cache has a puzzle to put the clues together to get secret and special coords to the final, grand, "Giant" cache, "Thank you, J.K. Rowling!"
Please do not post answer of the clues on the log. It ruins the fun for others. Not Good!

You will need to follow the story to find the location of the cache.

The Story of the Deathly Hallows

Death went to the great cliff to hide his Deathly Hallows. He needed to go find a great hiding spot for his unique powerful objects. Cloaked in black and dark, Death walked through the empty lot to the end of the road, crumbling and broken. He passed by a fading Dark Mark (X) on the road, and thought about hiding his Invisibility Cloak there, but as he approached, the Dark Mark's snake came alive and tried to bite Death on the ankles.

Death ran past the end of the road. There Death was blocked by a row of beige rocks, so he turned to the side and headed down towards the Whomping Willow. Death thought that this might be a great place to hide his Elder Wand, but as Death walked towards the perilous tree, one dangerous branch hovered next to Death and whacked him towards the edge of the cliff. Death gathered himself back up and decided the Whomping Willow wouldn't be the best place to hide his treasures.

Death continued on his way and came to a post saying 'Hippogriffs and Thestrals can fly only between these signs, CAUTION'. Death decided that this post would be a great hiding place for his Resurrection Stone. However, as he knelt down to place his mighty rock by the base of the post, an invisible Thestral came a little too close to Death and knocked him on his side. Death stumbled up and hurried off. He passed the other sign and ran quickly away to escape the angry Thestral.

He followed the edge of the cliff and came to a small metal pipe in the ground, near a palm tree. Death could not risk another injury, so he walked past the suspicious pipe, and made his way towards another row of rocks further uphill. There were many brown and red rocks, but there was one large white rock. Death thought, "Wait a second, what about here?" Death took his treasures back out of his sack and arranged them in a neat pile. He placed the Elder Wand on top of the Resurrection Stone and covered both of those with his Invisibility Cloak. He took the pile and left it deep under the white rock. Death then put on his dark cloak and disappeared into the night.

The Deathly Hallows are still there, waiting for you to discover them.

monkeydogfish:

This is the seventh in a series of caches celebrating J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Soon after we started geocaching, chloboo, being a big Harry Potter reader, came up with the idea to hide a series of Harry Potter caches, one for each book, with a final large bonus geocache called "Thank you, J.K. Rowling!" In each one of chloboo's HP caches, there is a clue for this last cache, which is a mystery cache. Write down that clue or take a photo!

This is the seventh - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Here are the other published caches in the series:
Chloboo's HP series #1 - Sorcerer's Stone
Chloboo's HP series #2 - Chamber of Secrets
Chloboo's HP series #3 - Prisoner of Azkaban
Chloboo's HP series #4 - Goblet of Fire
Chloboo's HP series #5 - Order of the Phoenix
Chloboo's HP series #6 - Half-Blood Prince

And, of course, the giant bonus cache: Thank you, J.K. Rowling!

Coordinates listed are for the starting point. You will need to follow the story above to find the container.

This is a letterbox hybrid cache, there are three stamps within, one for each deathly hallow. Please leave the stamps in the cache after you stamp your book or paper!

Goodies for FTF are a dollar, homemade FTF tag, and a trackable pirate tag.

Congratulations to StHart for being the first to confront Death's Deathly Hallows!
And congrats to the X-family for being STF and finding the Deathly Hallows in the dark. Scary!
