Cache presente da più di 10 anni!
ITA: dopo aver parcheggiato al "waypoint" indicato, dovete oltrepassare il sottopasso autostradale a piedi e in breve giungerete al Centro Visite, dopo 350 metri di percorso.
Dopo il sottopasso, al primo bivio proseguite diritti in piano e al secondo bivio, seguite il breve sentiero centrale in discesa.
La struttura, particolare nella forma, è stata realizzata dal Comune di Monfalcone, recuperando un sito militare in disuso.
Nell'edificio è presente una mostra permanente dedicata alla Riserva Naturale e al Carso. Inoltre è attualmente attivo un punto di ristoro con bar (aperto sabato, domenica e festivi, dalle 10 al tramonto), gestito dal Cai Monfalcone (http://www.caimonfalcone.org).
Il lago di Pietrarossa è l’unico lago carsico in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, assieme a quello vicino di Doberdò. Le due depressioni naturali, che sono separate da una dorsale calcarea, ricevono le acque sotterranee provenienti dai vicini fiumi Vipacco e Isonzo.

NB: il contenitore ha circa 63 cm^3 di volume interno quindi, secondo le nuove direttive sulle dimensioni dei contenitori (https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=97&pgid=815), si tratta di una "micro".
ENG: after parking at the indicated waypoint, you should walk beyond the highway underpass and you will soon reach the Visitor Center, after a 350 m long path.
At the first intersection after the underpass, go straight ahead steady and at the second fork follow the short central trail downhill.
The structure, peculiar in the form, was carried out by the Municipality of Monfalcone, recovering a military site into disuse.
Into the building there is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Nature Reserve and the Karst. There is currently active also a refreshment point with a bar (open on saturday, sunday and holydays, from 10 am to sunset), managed by Cai Monfalcone (http://www.caimonfalcone.org).
Pietrarossa Lake is the only karstic lake in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, together with the neighbor Doberdò Lake. The two natural depressions, which are separated by a limestone ridge, receive groundwater from the nearby rivers Vipacco and Isonzo.

ITA: Dato che il contenitore si trova a 1.7 m dal suolo e quindi se esposto può essere facilmente visto, ricordatevi di nasconderlo sempre perfettamente dopo il log, coprendolo con tutte le pietre originali!
ENG: As the container is at 1.7 m height above the ground and if exposed can be easily spotted, remember to always hide it perfectly after the log, covering it with all the original stones!
