12/21/12 Seedpod Traditional Cache

On 12/21/12 we waited and anticipated. Some kids wondered why they were even studying for finals. Some people wondered why they were paying bills, and there were reports of people maxing out their credit cards, with the belief that they'd never have to pay the balances.
But then...nothing happened and life went on as usual. People continued with holiday plans, continued going to work, continued their typical life's activities.
What no one knows however, is that in the very early morning hours of 12/21/12, an alien seed pod made its way over the North American Continent. It made its way to California and ultimately made its way to Alpine County. It descended over Bear Valley to the coordinates listed in the cache description.
And there it waits...
And waits...
It won't be easy to get to...If you're a skier or snowboarder you're limited to the ski season. If you're not and you're really hard core, you might hike to it or take a mountain bike. Only the determined will get to see this alien seed pod.
But be aware...should any of the residents drop into the snow, all bets are off...What was prophesized by the Mayans might come true after all!
Please be aware of muggles and return seed pod to its spot.
