This cache is placed very close to where geomum and I found our first geocache in April 2007. It was called gatakers, see also this link.
I first read about Geocaching in The Australian newspaper, in early 2007. While visiting over Easter that year, I bought the cheapest possible GPSr ($180, from one of the camping stores in Hervey Bay, with no maps, no computer connectivitiy, no colour screen). It lasted 400 caches!!! I remember marking caches in my (Brisbane) Refidex so I could use those maps for navigation...
