
Zaklad se ne nahaja na podanih koordinatah, ampak v našem bunkerju ...
Tu se je pravkar menjala straža pri strojnicah. Naš desetar je popravil kamuflažno mrežo, ko smo zaslišali nizko leteče letalo. Vedeli smo, da si že lep čas prizadevajo prekiniti oskrbovalni vod, preko katerega smo preko Save črpali gorivo, ki so ga v mesto pripeljali po železnici do industrijskega kompleksa celulozne proizvodnje.
Pilot v sovražnem letalu je letel točno proti severu. Prav nad bližnjo Libno (podane koordinate), je njegov višinomer pokazal le 93 metrov višine nad terenom.
Pilot nas je očitno opazil.
Prav v trenutku, ko smo bili točno zahodno od njega in smo vanj že usmerili svoje strojnice, je nenadoma spremenil smer. Z nezmanjšano hitrostjo (600 km/h) je pričel krožiti točno okrog našega bunkerja po pravilni krožnici.
Streljali smo proti letalu, a ga nismo zadeli. Ko je bil že onstran Save, je – medtem, ko je še vedno krožil okrog našega bunkerja – odvrgel bombo. Pričakovali smo silovito eksplozijo, a je začuda ni bilo. Bomba se očitno ni sprožila. Zlahka smo se prepričali, da je pilot zgrešil cilj, saj smo v smeri azimuta 190°4'31'' hitro opazili mesto na levem bregu Save (N 45°56.802' E 15°29.582'), kjer je obtičala neeksplodirana bomba.
Tudi po več kasnejših poskusih je most ostal nepoškodovan.

(Pri višinskih podatkih bomo upoštevali Googlovo Zemljo, za pretvorbo v ravninski koordinatni sistem pa naj služi UTM. Gravitacijski pospešek naj bo 10, vpliv zračnega upora pa zanemarimo.)
Zanimivost: Na tem delu Krškega, je poleg našega bilo še več bunkerjev, ki so dejansko služili nadzoru doline, po kateri potekajo nekateri ključni informacijski vodi. Omenjeni »vojaški most«, kakor ga imenujejo domačini, pa je v resnici služil za rezervni transport goriva čez Savo.

The patrol at the machine guns has just been changed. One of our men had repaired the camouflage when we suddenly heard a low-flying plane. We knew that they tried to destroy the supply pipe-bridge, used for transporting of kerosene over the Sava river.
The enemy plane was flying toward north. Exactly above the nearby Libna hill (given coordinates) its altimeter showed only 93 meters relative height above the terrain.
The pilot obviously noticed us.
Precisely in the moment, when we were exactly on his west side – we had already turned our machine guns against it – he suddenly changed the flight direction. With unchanged speed (600 kph.) began to circulate around our bunker along correct circle.
We were shooting against the plane, but we didn't hit it. It had already been beyond the river, when the pilot dropped the bomb. We were expecting a powerful explosion, but surprisingly we didn't hear anything. The bomb obviously didn't explode. The pilot obviously missed the target. In the direction of 190°4'31'' we could see place on the Sava left bank (N 45°56.802' E 15°29.582'), where stuck non-exploded bomb.
The bridge remained undamaged even after several later attempts to destroy it.
We have left the cache in our bunker.

One more interesting fact: In this part of Krško there were more bunkers beside our one. They actually served for the control of the valley, where some very important informational lines had been lodged. »Military bridge« really served as pump-transport of fuel across the Sava.)
