A pleasant walk through some of Santa Barbara's open space on the western side of town. The cache site overlooks the Pacific and the Channel Islands (not to mention an oil rig platform or two). The geocache is inside of a .30 caliber ammo can with a geocaching.com sticker on the outside. The ammo can and original cache contents were provided by Just A Short Walk. :~)
The geocache is hidden well because the area is heavily used. Please make sure to rehide the cache better than you found it. Thanks!

The cache is safe for children of all ages, make it a family outing. Mountain Bikes are allowed. Dogs are allowed, but should be leashed and don't forget the plastic baggies for those nuggets of joy! :~) This cache may be accessible by horse, but don't quote me on that or get mad if it isn't. Cache is night-time accessible! Leave the cache better hidden than you found it! 3D Differential (WAAS) EPE was 8.1 feet with a Garmin GPS V. ICG waypoint ID G-NX-???.
This cache is the first in the "Cobalt Blue" series. The others are: "Cobalt Blue Zwo", "Cobalt Blue Drei", & "Cobalt Blue Vier".
