This cache involves a short (but intense due to the steep gradient ) hike to what we dubbed “Dragon’s Crèche ” which is a lower & and easier cache compared to “Dragon’s Lair ” further up . The cache is situated near a small cave ideal for a picnic. There is no marked path to the cache (although terrain is quite accessible ) so you will have to use your own discretion on deciding what would be the best approach. Be sure to take enough water and snacks.
Parking coordinates as listed. Some prefer to follow the rock-climbing route from the Palmiet parking since it has an actual trail, others the direct approach from the listed parking coordinates. Look for the sandy, "riverbed" to walk up from the listed parking.
