Babina is a small hill on the island Cres with beautiful view.
Babina is a small hill on the island of Cres with maybe 300 meters above sea level. Access is from the holiday village ZAGLAV. At the crossing you follow the signs where you can visit the ruins of St. Christopher church or small church of St. Cosmas and Damian, where it is also a beautiful view. Rise of the hill Babina is after a stone marked trails. It runs past the pine trees hidden from carved stone built medieval monastery, which is already well ravages of time, and through the woods. A hiking boots is required and also drinking water! At the top, after about 45 minutes of moderate walking, you will be rewarded for your efforts with a view to one side all the way to Pula, on the other, Pag, Rab, ... In windy weather, the wind is very strong here.
