Geocache Description:

I challenge anyone hiding a geocache along this trail, to come up with a creative short story to share with those who find the cache. I also challenge those logging the find of a cache, to elaborate and expand the story, giving it your own twist. Share your creative adventures! Reading past logs can take you on so many different adventures!

There was once a boy names Holly Toledo. He was walking in the woods one day when he saw a bell hanging from a tree branch. Curious, he rang it to see what it was for. Suddenly, a woman popped out of nowhere!

“Who is the one who rang my bell, in my forest?” the lady yelled.

“Your bell? Your forest? This is public land!” said Holly Toledo.

“Public? Ha! I’ll tell you what. I’m pretty mad about all of you kids intruding on my land. You, my dear, were the last straw!” said the lady, “Cursed be you, you shall be a low-down mutt for the rest of your days!”

Suddenly, Holly Toledo could feel himself changing! He saw short, yellow fur growing all over his body and before long he turned into a yellow dog!

“You will be stuck like that forever unless you find the cure! I’ve hidden it somewhere in these woods. Now be gone!” the lady said.

The lady, who turned out to be a witch then disappeared in a flash of smoke, leaving Holly Toledo afraid and all alone in the woods.
