After recently hitting 300 finds we decided it was finally time to hide a cache of our own! This year (2012) we moved to the new suburb of Stonefields and decided a cache near the beautiful wetlands would be a fitting place for our first hide. Stonefields is rapidly developing and the shops should be open by mid 2013, the school roll has grown and new buildings are about to commence in the grounds. There are small parks dotted around and each one is different. Whilst searching for a spot to hide our cache we spotted an abundance of birdlife - kingfishers, herons, swallows, all sorts of ducks and black swans to name but a few. We also spotted plenty of rabbits including a jet black one - an escaped pet?!?
This is a 100ml sistema container, please replace in exactly the same spot so we know where to find it again!! At time of placing cache contains logbook and pen, silica gel packets and a couple of items for trading.
