Observation Rock affords brilliant views to the Neck, Ulva Island, up Patterson Inlet to Mt Rakeahua, and to the North Mt Anglem.
This is a favourite spot for photographer's and especially sunset photos. Patterson Inlet is also where the visiting cruise ships anchor.
The cache is a 200 ml Sistema container placed near this popular veiwing spot.
