Acker's Stone House
Lewis Acker built the house himself using local stone and clay mortar around 1836. He was an American whaler and settled here before the township of Oban was established, he was also a boat builder, farmer, and coastal trader.
With his wife Meri Pi they raised a family of 9 children in this cottage which is now a category one historic place, and one of the oldest European buildings in New Zealand
The cache is a 200ml Sistema container.
