Geocache Description:

A stroll down a ginnel to find a cache in the Lake District town of Windermere.

*** N.B. you do NOT need to go on private property to get this cache. Please stay on the main path thanks ! ***

This cache is situated about half way along a ginnel.  The actual spot where we've put the cache doesn't quite fit the description of a ginnel ("a narrow passage or alley between two walls or buildings"), but the eastern part of the path certainly does. I don't think the path is suitable for wheelchairs, as it is a little rough in places, hence the terrain rating.

The eastern end of the ginnel is at the A591 road, by St Mary's Church Windermere. If you're in a car starting from here, you may wish to park somewhere in the town of Windermere. The western end of the ginnel/path is by the A592 (Rayrigg Road), where there is some parking and also a nice quick walk down to Lake Windermere.

The cache is a micro, with no room for a pen or treasure, so don't forget to bring your own pen (BYOP) to sign the log.  Please return the cache carefully so it's well hidden, thanks !
