This cache located at Lawson Lake County Park. This park is located on Lawson Lake Road (County Rte. 109) near the Coeymans/New Scotland town line. Parking is along Rte 109 just outside the entrance to the park. From the parking lot, follow the Loop Trail signs into the park. The trail enters the woods and you will see a lean-to and fire pit, continue south on the trail past the grassy/brushy area and then head uphill to the right. You will see a stream, follow trail to where 2 streams connect. Cross stream and find the cache! To return continue north on the foot trail (do not follow the ATV trails) Continue north on the loop trail and you will return to the trailhead/gravel road. The whole loop trail is around 1 mile and passes through nice pine woods and streams. There are some signs describing the different plants and features that you see along the way.
