This is a tranquil spot I stop at while riding my bike around the suburbs.
You are looking for a 250ml sistema container with camo paint job, big enough for small swaps and trackables. Please be courtious enough to replace in hiding place as you found it and log the condition of cache. Thankfully the government has seen the light and are now going to fix the sea grass problem.
The State government has announced $28.15 million in funding to change the coastal structures at Port Geographe to bring about major benefits for local residents and the wider community. Subject to planning and environmental approvals, work will start next year on the reconfiguration of the existing groynes to alleviate seagrass accumulation and address beach erosion issues. Public amenity will also be enhanced through improved access to beaches and reduced odour levels. The project will take up to 18 months to complete.
The decision follows extensive community consultation and more than four years of scientific research, investigation and modelling of the seagrass and sediment movement in Geographe Bay.
The structural changes, which include modifications to the breakwaters, altered foreshore alignment and marina entrance, integration of a lagoon and removal of groynes from the pocket beaches, will assist the natural by-passing of sand and seagrass to address environmental and health issues, improve amenity and reduce ongoing annual coastal maintenance costs.
