Beautiful short hike to the cache. Should be a quick find, but be sure to take in the creek and all it's seasonal surroundings.
The Jacob's Creek Trail offers close up views as well as scenic vistas of a one mile section of this well known Hopewell Valley creek from Pennington-Titusville Rd to Pennington-Harbourton Rd. The trail's main entrance is off Pennington-Titsuville Rd. A small section of the trail also extends south of the road. Please stay on the trail as this is the only part of the private easement that is open to the public. Jacob's Creek begins in Hopewell Township and ends at the Delaware River. Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space have obtained easements along the creek to preserve its beauty and provide public access. Enjoy your hike in this new area, but please follow the posted signs for deer management in this area. Several days are closed to hikers. Congrats to LBrewster for the New Year's Day FTF!
