You are looking for a camouflaged bag hiding a screw top container with items to swap. The cache was a Christmas present from Team Tanzi (thanks sis!). This small woodland area was the tea garden to the Victoria Hotel dating back to 1849. The sunken sundial in the centre probably dates to this time too. The pit near to the sundial could be an 18th century sandpit. There is no physical evidence for cock fighting or any written records. However, the WI in 1951 claimed that men from the surrounding villages would attend cockfighting here during evenings after the Chester race meetings. Happy New Year 2013 from TeamEdenLloyd. X
