This site is where the cache 'Triskaidekaphobia' was located in the old ruin. Now the St. James School has been restored so come and see the changes.
St. James School at Blakiston was erected in 1848 in the Glebe paddock opposite the St. James Church.
It was closed in the late 1950's when being used as a Sunday School
The Blakiston Rotary Club coordinated the fund raising, getting a donation from a former Sunday School member and the Mount Barker Council. Renovations are now complete for the building and there are plans to put in a community garden around the building.
