About Half Way was placed on my trip to Esperance from Perth at Christmas 2012 and was “About Half Way”.
There is nothing really special here but maybe a bit of a look at the salt lake named Lake Hurlstone. Park in the Parking area and walk to the cache or if your feeling lazy you can drive to it on little track as long as you don’t have a caravan.(I walked)
Hyden/Lake King Road facts:
The Hyden Lake King Road's highest elevation along its length is 392m and the lowest point is at 301m For cyclists and those towing caravans, boats or heavy loads the Hyden Lake King Road is undulating along its 124 km length, with about 100 m that is steeper in incline/grade than 5%. The total ascent / descent along the length of the Hyden Lake King Road is 512 m / 426 m.
The cache is a screw top fruit container in a rusty tin under a bush, should be an easy find.
Well done Arnotts 2.0 on your FTF
