Geocache Description:

A Happy New Year to you all.  Anothe cache out by the fat bloke.  Is another Down By the Riverside, a walk by the wetlands of Horsham, a small wetlands but still an attractant to a good variety of birdlife if you have the urge for birdwatching.  Can be accessed from the carpark at Weir Park where there are BBQs, picnic tables, a dunny block and playground for the kids. A nice easy walk along the river, passing wetland ponds will bring you to cache location.  This area is at the edge of grounds badly burnt in the Black Saturday Bushfires of 2009, evidence of fires can still be seen in the area. Also, a bridge crosses just past cache allowing walk back to carpark on southern side of river  Cache should be easily found several metres off footpath towards river.  You will be looking for a small red plasti container with log, pencil and several small trinkets.

As it is summertime, there is a chance of snakes about location, also, watch small kids as there is a several metre bank down to the river, water depth unknown.
