Last year I hid the first "Snowman Cometh" cache - one of a hoped for series of caches near a trail that were able to be found regardless of how much snow is on the ground.
We were out in Big River on New Year's Day 2013 doing some snow shoeing, when vwskier spotted the cool location hinted at in the cache title. The spot needed a cache.
Cache should be findable in all but the most extreme snow (4'+). It is off trail about 50', but it should not be too hard to navigate to it. Cache is a test tube type container on a hook.
