Decision making time on your travels!! Which way?
Nethy Bridge a lovely place to explore. If you drive up the road to the west of the River Nethy you will pass some houses in beautiful positions, with views of fabulous countryside. The road twist and weaves up into the moors....but unfortunately you will have to retrace your drive/walk.
In August the Grant Clan Gathering is held in Nethy Bridge.This event is an internationally recognised clan gathering which attracts scores of foreign visitors. It combines the traditional Scottish field sports ( tossing the caber, etc.), Scottish country dancing, parading of pipe bands, Scottish produce and all round Highland hospitality.
Well worth planning a day here in August.
